Let Us All Press On

The bishop wanted our youth to have a signature song this coming year as they become the Lord’s Battalion. Because he has excellent taste, he wanted them to do Rick Elliott’s stirring arrangement of Let Us All Press On, crafted for the Tabernacle Choir. Alas, our young singers are valiant but few, intrepid but mostly untrained, and that arrangement asks a lot… I persuaded him to let me have a crack at doing something less formidable and the result is this new arrangement for 2-part chorus and piano. I hope some of you will find it useful.

LOVE this arrangement! It was so much fun for our new ward choir, very accessible and energetic, quick learn. Also a great piano part. When we presented it to the ward, it had a dynamic effect. As if perfectly cued after the last chord, a primary child leaped up, fist pumped to the sky, and shouted out “YEAH!” Couldn’t have asked for a more genuine compliment. Thank you for sharing this wonderful arrangement so freely!
