Commissioned to celebrate the installation of a new pipe organ at Memorial Presbyterian Church in Midland, MI, A Joyful Song is very much a celebration in musical form and is suited for use whenever an anthem of praise is wanted. The organ part is meaty but not symphonic; choral parts are mostly straightforward with occasional s cappella and divisi passages. Moderately difficult.
